    Designing a new model for how "Capital Meets Culture"

    An engagement with Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

    I am engaged with YBCA in the research and design of a bold concept. We aspire for ArtBank to be an entity with attributes of a bank, a social financier, a Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI), a place-making innovator, a disruptor and a convener. ArtBank believes that artist entrepreneurs are critical to shifting culture, and that cultural shifts are essential for meaningful social, environmental and economic change.

    I am guiding several dozen citizen participants through a "think tank" process of inquiry and response to questions about our work and our labor. Responses may be art, performance, or other projects.
